Indesign Media Asia Pacific, a leading international publishing and events company, is looking for a highly motivated Events and Production Coordinator with a passion for the architecture and design industry.

Based in Hong Kong, you will work on major trade events within the architecture and design industry, organise networking functions, produce marketing and events collateral, drive media partnerships and various other marketing activities in Hong Kong and greater Asia.

You will work closely with the Singapore and Australian teams on all aspects of event production, client support and account management, print/digital publications, social media, admin, logistics and execution.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as this role involves interacting with our teams across Singapore, Sydney and Hong Kong, as well as with our clients and suppliers.

Attendance of Industry functions will be required.

You are:

  • an energetic, highly organised self-starter with outstanding time management skills
  • able to multitask in a deadline driven environment, with focus on the big picture and meticulous attention to detail
  • a team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude and problem-solving skills
  • able to build strong relationships within the A&D industry and with suppliers
  • prepared to work onsite at events and regularly attend industry work functions after-hours.

You have:

  • some experience in event coordination, project management, production, account management or customer service
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • a willingness to learn and to take on new projects and drive them autonomously
  • a solid knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook on a mac platform, as well as basic knowledge of Adobe Indesign and Photoshop
